Frederick Douglass Academy V nurtures and supports the growth of caring and compassionate critical thinkers through arts-infused, authentic learning. Our students graduate academically and socially minded, ready for success at the high school and college of their choice and capable of meeting the demands of the 21st century. Our mission is to support each scholar in becoming socially minded and academically focused young adults, capable to succeed in the high school, college, and career of their choice through the 4 C's critical to success in the 21st century: Compassion, Collaboration, Communication, and Creative Critical thinking.
