Louis Pasteur Middle School 67Q offers three programs to which incoming students can obtain seats- the Zoned Program, the Screened Program, and the STEM Lottery Program. During their time at 67, students engage in four core courses each year as well as coursework in STEM, the Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing, Spanish, and others. Students can choose from one of six offered Arts forms for the completion of a three-year Arts sequence- Studio Art, Graphic Art & Design, Theater, Dance, Vocal Music, and Instrumental Music. Academic performance of students is closely monitored, and students are offered accelerated coursework in Science, Math, Social Studies, and Spanish if appropriate. MS 67Q also offers a free after-school program which is facilitated by the Samuel Field Y on-site. MS 67Q also offers approximately 30 free clubs, teams, and/or activities after-school throughout the school year including various recreational sports and academic clubs. Students' SEL needs are addressed through School-Based Support Team class visits, grade-wide assemblies, class lessons, counseling, and group discussion.
