A gemstone in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant, MS267 shines by example every day. Naturally, we focus on academic excellence, on rigor and its rewards, but to encourage robust learning, we place even greater emphasis on each child educational experience. We offer Math, English, Social Studies, and Science courses of study that culturally respond to modern interests with Regents offerings in the 8th grade. We pursue classes collaboratively, prioritizing student voices in vigorous debates, deep projects, and individualized conferences. We emphasize both educational and socio-emotional support, providing a wealth of personalized resources. We also offer student-created enrichment classes that foster our students' diverse passions, including basketball, culinary arts, cosmetology, poetry, and robotics. Through our integrated curriculum and deep support systems, we nurture each student's growth, ensuring they become intellectuals, artists, and citizens of the modern world. MS267 has recorded District 16 top Mathematics and English test scores for five years running, received a perfect score in 2019 New York State Quality Review, and named a top school by an independent monitoring body.
