At Queens Metropolitan High School (QMHS), we are proud to be a top-tier public high school offering big opportunities in a close-knit, student-centered community. Located in the heart of Queens, we serve a diverse population of learners and challenge each one to achieve academic excellence, personal growth, and future success. Our students have access to over 20 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as dual enrollment opportunities and CUNY College Now, allowing them to earn real college credit while still in high school. Whether their path leads to college, career, or both, our students graduate college-ready and future-focused. As a NYC Community School, QMHS supports the whole child--academically, physically, and emotionally--through deep partnerships with community-based organizations that provide essential services in health, wellness, and academic support. Students engage in real-world learning through robust Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Cisco Networking, Digital Media Marketing, and Computer Science. Our FutureReadyNYC cybersecurity track prepares students for one of the fastest-growing sectors in today's economy. Meanwhile, our nationally recognized Robotics and Fabrication program offers students high-tech, hands-on experience in design, engineering, and competition. QMHS is also home to a thriving PSAL athletic program, featuring 23 sports teams across all seasons, including a City Championship in Girls Varsity Volleyball during the 2024-2025 school year. Our student-athletes demonstrate excellence both on and off the field. At Queens Metropolitan High School, we combine academic rigor, real-world skills, and whole-child support to prepare every student to lead in college, career, and life.
